Mrs. Carole Glover II –
The Ohuhu Marker Pads Art Sketchbook has become an indispensable part of my artistic toolkit. Designed specifically for markers, this sketchbook offers a superb canvas for creating vibrant and detailed artworks.First and foremost, the paper quality is exceptional. It’s smooth, thick, and bleed-resistant, which ensures that my markers glide effortlessly across the pages without feathering or ghosting. This feature is crucial for maintaining the integrity of colors and preventing them from seeping through to the next page. The size of the sketchbook, 8.9″x8.3″, is perfect for both small and medium-sized projects. It’s compact enough to be portable yet offers ample space for exploring creativity and experimenting with different techniques. Whether I’m sketching, doodling, or rendering detailed illustrations, the dimensions strike a perfect balance between versatility and convenience.I also appreciate the spiral binding, which allows the sketchbook to lay flat when opened. This feature enhances ease of use and comfort, especially during longer drawing sessions. Moreover, the Ohuhu Marker Pads are affordably priced, making them accessible for artists of all levels. Despite their budget-friendly nature, they deliver premium quality that rivals more expensive alternatives on the market.Overall, the Ohuhu Marker Pads Art Sketchbook is a standout choice for anyone who enjoys working with markers. Its superior paper quality, convenient size, and thoughtful design make it an excellent investment for both hobbyists and professionals seeking a reliable surface for their creative endeavors.

I’m in my mid 30s and just beginning my journey into the world of drawing after not picking that hobby back up since I was a kid. I wanted better supplies than kid-me could’ve ever dreamed of, and tis the season, so I splurged and got myself this comically huge one. This sketchbook is SO BIG that it barely fits my easel! But that’s exactly what I hoped for, except it’s even bigger than I thought it would be. I’m thrilled because it means there is SO much space to work with on each page, so much art to be done to fill this beautiful book. The paper quality is top notch. Sakura Micron Pigma pens, alcohol markers with plenty of layering, these pages handle everything I throw at it no problem. Not to mention, they’re really smooth to draw, write and color on.Generously, they include a fantastic plastic sheet that goes between the pages to prevent bleed-through, just in case, but for my purposes I haven’t run into that issue (but of course judiciously use said sheet anyways). I was surprised, though, that the sheet is so malleable and smooth as well, not rough or rigid as I had initially thought it might be (though I’m not sure why I thought that, heh).I realize this is an expensive sketchbook, but it isn’t, really, because the effect it’s had on my art already is phenomenal. If anyone is serious about art, and not looking to just doodle around, or you want to work with (or perhaps already do work with) alcohol markers, THIS is the book to get. I am so excited to fill it to the brim with fun projects. It’s worth every single penny, and then some.

Wow ok, this marker pad was better than expected, and might be my favorite yet! I’ve used Bee Paper for ages for my Copic illustrations and the only complaint I have about it is that there’s a shine/gloss to the surface which makes it hard to photograph my art. Ohuhu paper is bright white and completely matte, so that’s not a problem!! I like that the dimensions come in a square ratio, which makes planning for posting on IG so much easier. The perforation makes taking pages out clean + easy. The cardboard backing is very sturdy (if you like to draw with the book in your lap like a gremlin as I do this is a plus lol).As for use with alcohol markers, this paper can take a LOT of layering with zero bleed through! And if you’re worried about that, the book comes with a protective sheet you can place under the page you’re working on. The colors come out so smooth and bright on this paper, with no bleeding/spreading. (The color on the tomatoes has a bleed only because the ink blotted from the marker being stored upright, my bad) The paper is a nice heavy weight and I’ve experienced very minimal curling after a lot of ink has been placed on the page, so you can definitely make full color illustrations.I haven’t tried Ohuhu markers yet, but given how impressed I am with the quality of their paper, I just might! You really can’t beat the price either, I highly recommend trying this marker pad out for any artist – hobbyist or professional!
