I love this paper, I’m a watercolor artist, someone told me how great it was for practice , so I ordered it, and I am so impressed how well it held up to water, I put a water wash on first and it NEVER BUCKLED!!! This is a first for me with a 7×5 pad, even the others with 140lb still buckle, I couldn’t believe this pad. It worked well with scratching and lifting too, now I want it in a larger size!

Having nothing to compare with no previous reviews, I was skeptical. I’m by no means a professional watercolorist, but I’ve been using watercolor for several years off and on. Having said that, I’ve used all kinds of watercolor paper. This one was, by far, my favorite. No warpage! I’ve saturated with water and painted wet on wet, and still no warpage. It’s thick and holds color well. It comes out of the pad with no tearing, but doesn’t come off while you’re painting directly in the pad.Every artist is different and their preferences are just as unique, but I loved this paper; so much so, I’ll be ordering another.No, I wasn’t paid for this review, and I’m a real person. I’ll update with a painting I’ve done recently.

This is surprisingly good for the money. I paint 2-3 watercolors every day. I’m tired of spending money on cheap paper that warps easily and wanted something a bit sturdier but inexpensive. I found this to fit my want.
